Training, science, and the medical community to promote the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

 

On Tuesday, July 22, the Hyperbaric Summit Costa Rica was held, an exclusive in-person meeting at the Wyndham San José Herradura Hotel & Convention Center, which brought together more than 120 healthcare professionals interested in deepening their knowledge of hyperbaric medicine and its clinical application.

 

During the event, attendees had access to high-level scientific content, clinical case presentations, and professional networking opportunities in an environment designed for sharing experiences and evidence on the therapeutic use of hyperbaric oxygen.

 

We were honored to have the participation of leading specialists who shared their experience in different areas of medicine:

 

• Dr. César Guevara, a physical therapist with training in sports medicine, addressed the role of hyperbaric therapy in muscle recovery and physical performance.
• Dr. Alicia Marín, a specialist in functional and precision medicine, presented clinical cases where hyperbaric oxygenation enhances comprehensive and personalized treatments.
• Dr. Fabrizio Verdini, a leader in hyperbaric medicine and longevity, shared evidence and protocols for the use of the chamber in healthy aging and chronic pathologies.
